Having fallen in love with its rich cultural heritage and strong sense of community, Rosemary purchased her home on Patton Avenue with her husband back in 1998, drawn into the historic embrace of Charlotte’s McCrorey Heights neighborhood. She deeply values the close bonds between residents as neighbors look out for one another even decades later. Rosemary beams with affection and pride as she describes her joy of living amongst the area’s renowned African American culture. Her vision echoes the community’s longstanding strengths – maintaining and building upon the vibrant roots that make McCrorey Heights a beloved place its residents are proud to call home. Like those before her, Rosemary carries a spirit of guardianship over this special neighborhood, hoping coming days shine brightly on McCrorey Heights’ culture and advance its legacy as a safe, connected community for all who live there.
